hmm I haven't made a new post here for a while... not that I know of anybody who looks at my blog besides my brother, but... *shrug*
once I've documented more of my art for this semester, I think I'll post some of it on this blog.
walked to Metro Ace hardware an hour ago, bought some wood, walked back. cold and a bit windy, but it was ok.
mood still not the best when it comes to some things.

And....some more NIN concert videos
I just discovered vimeo.com, which (at least from I've seen so far) looks like it has higher quality videos on average than YouTube... And I found some really high quality videos of the NIN Lights in the Sky tour from 2008. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any from the specific performance I attended (you can look to my last blog post for some lower quality videos of that), but the high quality makes up for it. Some of the videos are actually "multi-cam", meaning that somebody arranged clips from multiple perspectives into a single video, which is pretty cool. It's not exactly how I experienced the concert (I stood in one spot the entire time), but it's still interesting to watch.
Here are some of the videos I found on vimeo.com:
Nine Inch Nails - 999,999 / 1,000,000 (Lights In The Sky Tour, Multi-Cam) from Esther Derive on Vimeo.
Nine Inch Nails - Discipline (Live in HD) from WhoRu? on Vimeo.
nine inch nails decide to rock harder than anyone ever from partyunderground.net on Vimeo.
Down In It - Nine Inch Nails from Jessica on Vimeo.
Nine Inch Nails - In This Twilight - Sacramento, CA from victoria w on Vimeo.
Nine Inch Nails - Hurt - Portland, OR from victoria w on Vimeo.
Nine Inch Nails - Discipline - Red Rocks from victoria w on Vimeo.
NIN "Echoplex" Vegas 12/13/08 *HD* Nine Inch Nails DMC-TZ5 from Joe Mancino on Vimeo.

NIN

There's no way I can describe, in specific words, how awesome the NIN concert was last Tuesday. So, here is one photo from my cell phone, followed by several nice videos from other people on YouTube.
Head Like a Hole - from seats, you can really appreciate the visuals from this view

Origins
(Ok, this will be a quick blog post because it's getting a bit late and I have a class tomorrow. I just wanted to make some sort of blog post so I can fill up some of this empty space here.)
So, here begins my very first blog.
Some current projects include planning for a 16+ page book for my 2D class, beginning on the final assignment for Drawing I (narrative with two or more drawings), fine-tuning my website (http://d.homes.mcad.edu/~ddavis722/index.html), writing a compare/contrast essay, and studying for my art history class. I think I'll put up some sketches I made for my 2D book project soon, and maybe some more artwork soon.
I'll end this short post with some really cool music:
